Dana went to Trader Joe's for groceries last week. It is more a market than a grocery store with lots of local and whole foods.
She picked up a bag of apples locally grown. As I sat here eating breakfast I noticed how irregular they are. Some are large, others small. Some stems thicker than others. Several are even blemished.
It is refreshing to have a bunch of apple rejects sitting on the table. It reminds me of being with so many of our closest friends who make up a sweet bunch of irregulars.
